LEATHER SKILLS COURSE     £175 inc VAT
 

A one-day course combining a variety of basic leather skills to make a belt or dog lead /collar from scratch.  The skills learnt are transferrable to an upholstery application when working with thick saddle-grade hides.

 

All materials and equipment are provided, no experience needed.

Learn how to: 

• Assess your leather and choose the right piece of hide

• Cut and prep: edge, stain, polish, crease

• Hand stitch, a method traditionally used for saddle-making

• Finish with chrome hardware

Maximum of 6 students in a class.

9.30am-4.30pm                          

Tea, coffee & cake provided, but bring your own lunch.
