WOOD FINISHING COURSE     £175 inc VAT

A one-day course designed to give you the basics in wood finishing, both traditional and modern, as frequently required of an upholster.

 

All materials, tools and equipment will be provided, but please bring along a portable frame for advice or treatment if you have one.

 

Learn about: 

• Frame cleaning and preparation

• Types of treatment and methods

• How to select appropriate stains, polishes and lacquers

• How to remove marks and repair dents

• Different types of glues and repairing splits

• Health and Safety guidelines
